Bad customer services
Purchased a BB gun in the Florence Alabama store on 7-4-22 when we opened the box after getting it home we noticed that it looked like someone had maybe purchased and returned the gun before because it was missing parts and the clip that was in it didn't even go to that gun so we returned it the next day only to be pretty much called a liar and told that we could not get a refund the manager on duty was rude and belittling and made it sound as if we were in the wrong because we were bringing it back he even went as far as to try to give my husband the clip and say this must be yours bacause it don't even belong in here... We do not appreciate being called a liar and don't appreciate his rude demeanor especially considering that we were not at all rude with him or anyone else... I will not return to that store and I will let everyone I know that shops there just exactly how we were treated...I was a manager for 13 years and I know that this is not at all how you treat a customer and just being raised right is enough to know that you just don't treat people in general like this PERIOD!!!

One month for delivery.
I ordered an above ground pool on May 27th for $1400, with an estimated delivery of June 13th. I tried tracking for about a week and kept getting an error so i called Academy and Ceva, neither could tell me where it was.
On the 13th i finally got word that it had never left its original warehouse. I was then given a date of the 20th, the 20th came and went.. I was then passed from one place to the other.. Academy, Ceva and some 3rd party.
I had to cancel 2 different scheduled parties bc i had no pool. I was then called and notified that I would now have to wait until the 28th. Only to find out the package had been in Texas, 5 hours away, now going on a full month to deliver.
I could have taken a day off and picked it up myself. Academy was apologetic but doesnt quite make up for the absolute frustration of the last month
